Descriptions for each article:

  1. As the school enters the exam period, the UBIQUE team would like to wrap up the last issue of 2023 with one last compilation of photos. Here are some highlights of UniHigh’s 2023 and what a year it has been.

  2. As we enter high school, we seem to grow out of the things our childhood once found enticing, whether it be toys, shows or movies. In this article, the UBIQUE team have a wide arrangement of shows, movies and toys that will surely trigger your fond memories.

  3. Everybody styles themselves differently and that is what’s so unique about UniHigh. In this video, students and teachers around the school are asked how much they pay for their attire.

  4. Having a good teacher can really dictate how much you will enjoy your classes but there is something not often mentioned, and that is: classrooms! Depending on the classroom you are in, it can either make or break your lesson. As students, we should be entitled to optimal learning environments and that includes the proper chairs, amenities and locations of a classroom.

  5. A continuation of a series where the UBIQUE team asks teachers about their past as teenagers, the English teacher Ms Jacobs is interviewed. Being a daughter of two teachers herself, she shares her experiences in high school and how she came to follow her parents’ footsteps.

  6. As a parting gift from the year 12s, they do one last prank on their teachers and what better way than to dress up as them? Who wore it better; the teachers or the students? Some you can’t even tell apart!

  7. A continuation of the ongoing saga to find the obscure door of ‘185’, UBIQUE sleuths Maddie and Naomi search around the corridors of UniHigh in hopes of finding the secrets the missing door of ‘185’ has to offer.

  8. With 2023 coming to an end, the year 7s are about to complete their first year at UniHigh. In this piece, the UBIQUE team interview the upcoming 8th graders about their experience at the school.

  9. Not long ago, the 700s were finally open to the public after almost three years of waiting. Of course, most people are delighted for all the construction to finally be over and more opened up space, but what do people really think about these new science rooms? Love ‘em or hate it, is there something that can be improved?

  10. In comparison to the previous years, UniHigh’s year 12 students ended their high school journeys with not much of a bang. As soon as the bell rung, they were off with a somewhat underwhelming exit. With the fear of more Muck Up Day chaos, is it really fair to send the year 12s off without a special goodbye?

  11. Not long ago, the senior students just got their subject selections for 2024. Of course, some subjects are more popular than others and not everybody gets what they always want. In this article, the UBIQUE team asks UniHigh how their subject selections went.

Thank you we hope you have a great week!
