UBIQUE: ISSUE 14

A week out of lockdown… and everyone’s still stressing about catching up on homework. Sounds about right.

It’s Week 4 of Term 3 - so say hello to ISSUE 14, UBIQUE’s newest edition. We’ve received amazing feedback and comments about our new publishing format & design and have heard that you guys have been loving the new articles as well as the weekly issues - so thank you so much. The UBIQUE team is so honoured and grateful for all the support and love we’ve been shown by our school community and promise to work hard to be worthy of such praise.

You guys have probably finally gotten used to UBIQUE’s new posting format by now, which is unfortunate because we’ve got some news.

UBIQUE won’t be publishing articles like this anymore…

Because UBIQUE’s relaunch is coming! We're so excited to finally be able to reveal this long-kept secret as we’ve been preparing this surprise for so so long, and with lockdown our plans did get pushed back. However, we managed to overcome them and are happy to announce UBIQUE’s relaunch will commence NEXT MONDAY the 9th of August @ 3.20 PM. This relaunch will include a makeover to our website, a new format for all of our articles/issues, and physical copies of our magazine available in the library. We are preparing hard for this relaunch, so make sure to show your support and enthusiasm in ISSUE 14 to let us know you’re just as excited as we are.

UBIQUE will continue to post every Monday at 3.20 pm, so make sure to have a reminder on your phone set to read our newest articles. Perfect to read on the way home.

This week we once again have 6 more fantastic articles for you all:

  • We start off with an article dedicated to Uni High and some of the strange happenings going on around the place. Mysterious doors and K-pop cults, how spooky…

  • Next, we have an article about the mental health of students at Uni High and the competence (or perhaps the lack thereof) when it comes to how the school deals with the well being of students.

  • On the topic of the students, have an article written about new students of the school and how well they do or don’t get treated.

  • To link to this article all about new students, we have an article about the Year Sevens which discusses whether or not they get bullied, and why you should care.

  • Once again have yet another thrilling episode of the anthology podcast. This time we’re looking at beauty and self-esteem, and other relevant topics.

  • Finally, we have yet another instalment in your ‘From the Archives’ series.
