The Lunches of Uni High

At lunchtime, the University High School canteen is always crowded with people. Now, follow my footsteps and go inside to have a peek of what it looks like. Walking into the dining hall, you are to be greeted by a wide variety of dishes placed on top of tables, so students might enjoy their delicious food. As a whole, the tenth grade students will usually sit around a table eating different meals. Some of them will eat Chinese food, others will eat Western food. Students who eat Western food generally focus on sandwiches and fruits, whilst students who eat Chinese food generally focus on rice, noodles and meat.

Most students eat a homemade lunch. Generally speaking, their mother cooks their food personally, however food sold in the canteen also attracts students. The reason being that students especially like the chicken wings, hamburgers and spicy noodles there. As time goes by, when students have enough to eat, they will choose to chat or watch movies or variety shows. Sometimes they talk about academic problems, sometimes about new clothes or weather, and sometimes even talking about their boyfriends and girlfriends.

Lunch time brings a lot of fun to students, so that they can not only chat and relax, but also try each other's food and enjoy this happy time.
