Revenge of Fly
And now we present a great short 2 part fiction poem by Liselotje Jensen:
Enjoy!
Revenge of fly : A story in two parts
I
The day had been like microwaved glue
Hot and sticky and hard to chew
Lying on the couch, there was I
When I heard the ZZZ of a juicy fly
Drunken and slow it rammed itself
Again and again against the shelf
At first I tried to ignore,
Its constant, drilling, buzzing snore
Soon it got too much to take
And I started swinging at its face
It was slow and fat and not too bright
So I killed it in a single, back hand strike.
II
As I slept that night in murderous glee,
I started to sink into a sleep,
So close I was to resting my eyes,
And I heard a familiar buzzing fly.
That slow drippy drone and clumsy wings
I heard it smacking into my things
I flicked on the light and to my surprise
There were a group of huge, fuzzy flies.
