The Story of an Old Friend

Hendrix Barr is a Uni High student, my primary school best friend, and the former fastest kid in the school. Hendrix was one of the most adventurous kids I knew in primary school, he was so fearless that he often did things that seemed both pretty dangerous and pretty cool for a kid. Nowadays, my old friend has started his journey into high school. What is he up to now? 

How was your primary school experience? What do you remember from primary school? Can you describe the friends you had then? Are you guys still in touch?

Hendrix thinks his overall experience in primary school was good. He remembers how the classrooms were smaller and allowed you to be tight with the people around you, friends, everyone knowing everyone, playing tag and recess and hanging on the monkey bars. His friends then were cool and he is still in touch with quite a few to this moment.

What did you think high school would be like before you started?? What would be some advice you would give for people beginning too? And what do you like about high school now?

Hendrix was really scared and worried about going to high school, he had thought things would be very difficult and that high school would be a problem. But it didn't turn out that way. Some advice; All you have to do is get to know the teachers, get into some good habits and you will find it easier. He likes meeting all these new people and it's going really well for him.

Did you go to a high school before Uni High? How was it there?

Hendrix went to Marcellin College. It went well  for him but he just didn't like the overall energy, as  it was an all boys school and they were all trying to be better than each other.

Did you have a dream or goal you wanted to pursue and have you done it yet? What is one short term and long term goal you are doing now?

For two years Hendrix had a dream of building his own gaming setup and he has just accomplished that now. A short term and a long term goal he has yet to establish.

What is a place, experience and person that you miss from the past?

A place he missed is his old home,  because it was cool and held a lot of memories. An experience he misses was playing tag in primary school at recess, and a person he misses is a friend he had from primary school. He also misses playing a game of downball during primary school, but not how toxic the game made kids be. 

Who is your biggest inspiration?

It would be his parents since they are really good with their work. They have two hair salons and their business seems to inspire him to be a really good employee or even start his own business.
