Charlotte Malcom

Beautiful boy

The movie touches on how substance abuse can impact the relationship of the user as well as the people around them. When everybody around the person you love is also consumed by their addiction, which is taking over their lives. Particularly if the individual in question is your child, their suffering becomes your own. Finding a wonderful movie that truly shows how much a father can love his children is unusual, but it works, we don't get to see that often in the film industry. Despite the fact that many males have been taught to suppress their feelings, their love for their sons and daughters can be very intense. In every movie he appears in, Steve Carell gets better. From that bumbling, loud character in The Office to the wise, devoted father of a son whose addiction is undoubtedly taking his life far too soon. It is a beautiful movie that is primarily mental health based. Timothee Chalamet and Steve Carell perform amazingly and gives an insight on how drugs and relationships don’t mix well.

The Shawshank Redemption

The Shawshank Redemption is mainly about the two main characters, Andy and Reed, in prison. This includes a series of events and how Andy redeems himself and the people in prison step by step. The most touching thing about this movie is Andy's insistence and desire for freedom and hope, no matter what the situation is he does not give up his belief in hope.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Because I love Audrey Hepburn, I love Breakfast at Tiffany's. Hepburn, so I really like "Breakfast at Tiffany's". Whether it is the most classic black dress, pajamas, or a very casual T-shirt, they are interpreted by her as elegant and comfortable as well as the best. The high plated head, the classic black dress and the long pipe have been imitated by countless people over time. Because she is by Audrey. Hepburn interpreted.

The Silence of the Lambs

It’s my favorite film. I really enjoyed the film when i watched it, all the details and how the actors perfectly performed the characters. Through all the scenes, you could visually see how Hannibal Lector is a complex character, he was elegant, smart and attractive, sometimes it becomes hard to believe such an elegant and polite person would be a serial killer and a cannibal

Forrest Gump

The film is based on Winston Groom's political satire of the same name, except that while the original is a satirical dystopian novel, the film embellishes and embellishes the story. The absurd and revealing satire of the original is abandoned, adding a warmth and humor to the film. But the film also expresses dissatisfaction with American society and capitalism at the time, and exposes various ills, so "Forrest Gump" can also be called a product of its time.

Divergent (plus series)I really like the movie because of the romance and action that happens throughout the 3 movies. It's absolutely amazing and by far will be my favorite till I die. I recommend it because the suspense and the storyline is so beautiful to me. Trust me you will not regret it. Anybody who has watched or read it will understand.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

This movie gives a good portrayal of how asian families or immigrants grow up in western culture, being relatable to the audience who went through the same thing. The characters are great, the script is great and has a comedic element to it as well as being touching and tugging to the heartstrings.

Weathering With You:

The storyline of this movie is one like no other. The animation is great and you really get to pay attention to small details. Each scene was done brilliantly, and when the camera panned across the entire city, I could feel my heart yearning with desire. With its stunning sky, intricately crafted architecture, and soft, vibrant light shining off every bend and corner, this kind of environment was the kind I wanted to live in. You can really tell how much time, money, and work went into creating this masterpiece. The plot was simple, charming, and innocent. This makes you yearn for a love tale exactly like this, filled with interesting personalities and happy accidents. It was not only well-planned, but it also constantly had you wondering what would happen next. The plot was simple, charming, and innocent. Spiderman - Into The Spider-Verse

It is a fantastic film. I can't claim to be all that interested in superhero things, but that doesn't matter with this movie. I knew even less than my currently sparse knowledge on Spider-Man when I first watched the film, and I still had a great time. It's a fun superhero movie with some seriously good emotional beats and some seriously amazing animation. It possibly kicked off the multiverse trend, but don't quote me on that, and its own take on multiple universes's Spider-Men is really well executed (and the focal point of the movie, to boot!).

The animation is fantastic, and I cannot reiterate this point enough. Especially back then, the 3D animated film scene was very heavily leaning towards semi-realism, so Spiderverse's comic inspired look is a breath of fresh air. It's also very, very gorgeous. The soundtrack is awesome, featuring both a great instrumental score and great songs (Sunflower, What's Up Danger). The group dynamic of the main cast is very fun. The protagonist, Miles Morales, is written super well. I found him to be rather relatable as someone with an interest in arts, and also relatable just as a teenager! I found him especially relatable when I first watched this film when I was younger and first coming to Uni High (he starts the movie adjusting to a new school, so...). His mentor figure in the film's both very funny and a genuinely interesting character in his own right, Gwen's really interesting too, and the ensemble cast are all fun and I really hope to see more of them in the future.

Also, there's a sequel coming out next year! Its trailer seems very promising and I look forward to seeing it.

Harold and Maude

It's weirdly heartwarming, which is strange, considering how unnerving the main plot is. I love all the architecture, the cars, etc, just the way props and interior design are used is really pretty. It's funny, it's a bit gross at times, it's bittersweet, it's whimsical, and it made me cry. It gets a bit weird, but stick with it. The music is great, the characters are great, it's just such a good movie. I'm a really sentimental/nostalgic person and this was perfect for the vintage obsession that I think a lot of us have. I kind of hate the term 'coming-of-age-film' but it's probably one of those. I aspire to one day have a trinket collection like Maude's. I think you can watch it on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, or Google Play. That might be wrong though.

Little Women (2019)

I know the novel of 'Little Women' really well and I enjoyed the way that the director, Greta Gerwig, drew out some of the ideas around women and vocation that are concealed within the story. Louisa May Alcott, the author of 'Little Women', wrote a very influential novel that portrays female relationships with real spark. However, she needed to sell books to support herself so she buried many of her feminist messages under a pile of morality. Gerwig draws out those feminist ideas about whether a career and romance were possible for a woman in the 19th century. The eternal question when reading 'Little Women' is why doesn't Jo marry Laurie? Greta Gerwig gives us a double ending that doesn't have Jo compromise her principles by marrying Laurie, but also allows us to imagine a potential resolution where she becomes a writer and doesn't marry silly old Mr. Bear either.

Ratatouille

It's just the perfect feel good movie. The way that the movie keeps a happy ending while having deep and saddening emotional moments makes the movie so fulfilling and enjoyable. The animation is impeccable and the movie doesn't fall short in any categories, the characters are enjoyable and relatable while still feeling real. Ratatouille creates the perfect story around anyone can do anything with a rat who believes 'anyone can cook'. The movie follows a story structure that isn't point A to B which is incredibly difficult to balance and it makes the movie so much more enjoyable to just follow this Rat as he lives out his dream without trying to reach a certain success. I would recommend it because this movie is just fun and light hearted. I cannot think of a mood that this movie doesn't fit. Sad: watch Ratatouille, Happy: watch Ratatouille, Cooking: watch Ratatouille. The movie also is good for all ages and everyone. Just such a great movie.
