  10. The Term That Was

A Short Description of Each Article :)

  1. Following the start of term 2, students have been delighted to see the instalments of new drinking fountains at the school. However, rumours say the quality of the water has changed for the worst. Are these baseless opinions or is there some truth behind these allegations?

  2. Ever wondered who is the most favoured teacher at UniHigh? Well, Aimee, Anja, and Alice were also curious which lead them to ask several students who their favourite teacher is. Watch to find out who ends up being the number one teacher in UniHigh’s heart!

  3. Religious Holidays Explained is a new series where we will explain religious festivals, and the history of holidays and broaden your perspective on how the religion works. This article, by Ghada and Riyaq, explains the tradition of Ramadan and Eid and answers common questions relating to the topic, and ends up with them interviewing students about the experience.

  4. A sequel to the previous article, William analyses the history of Easter and its relation to Christianity. But how did Easter transform from a solemn religious observance into a playful holiday marked by colourful eggs and chocolate bunnies? To answer that question, read this article!

  5. Ever wondered about the many foods we students eat on a daily basis for lunch? Well, Emelie investigates and interviews students across the campus to see what is really in their lunchboxes!

  6. Being a school without an official school uniform has its ups and downs but it is what makes UniHigh so distinctive. Fashion provides an outlet to express yourself creatively through clothing and it is a privilege not many schools have. Without further ado, the Ubique team would like to present to you UniHigh’s very own fashionistas!

  7. Anita is a student in year 8 who has been diagnosed with neurofibromatosis, a condition that impairs her eyesight. Despite the struggles she faces, Anita has been breezing through high school with flying colours, enjoying many subjects from art, voice and drama. But most of all; her biggest dream is to go to Space Camp in the USA!

  8. Everybody has gone to UniHigh’s library at least once during their stay at the school, it has become an oasis to chat with friends, attend clubs or quiet study but ironically only a low number of students actually take advantage of the array of books and amazing resources at the library. Have a read to see what makes UniHigh’s library so special.

  9. The Junior Performing Arts Night is one of UniHigh’s proud annual traditions and it is happening on May 11th this year. Unfortunately, we will have to wait a couple of weeks for the riveting event to take place but why not have a look at the behind-the-scenes and how students of UniHigh prepare for their big debut?

  10. Even though term 1 is over, there is no doubt that it was an amazing term. Enjoy a short collection of photos taken by the Ubique team to reminisce about the fond memories of the previous term.
