What's Your Outfit of The Day?
BY ANH NGUYEN & EMILY LU
Earlier this week, we created a survey asking students about their fashion and their outfits. Instead of including their photos, we have tried our best to accurately recreate their outfits based on the descriptions given, to protect the students’ anonymity.
See if you can find your outfit based on our reconstruction.
When asked about what influenced their outfit choices that day, 57.1% of students said the weather, while 51.8% said their mood. Some less common factors included: friends, social media/Pinterest, and hobbies, with some individuals stating that they wear “whatever [they] can throw together in the morning” and “something random” because they had “nothing to wear”.
Additionally, when asked what people like about their outfits, students seemed to prioritise comfort, colour and style. 44.6% of respondents think they may have good fashion, while 33.9% of people are super confident in their style. For some people, it just depends on the day.
